THEREFORE IS OUR MOTTO.

IN THE 1980'S EDUARD OSWALD SUKZESSIVE STARTED THE CONVERSION FROM A MIXED AGRICULTURE TO A COMMERCIAL WINE ESTATE. THE VINEYARD AREAS HAVE BEEN IN LARGER AND OLD OAK BARRELS WERE EXCHANGED FOR MODERN STAINLESS STEEL TANKS. EVERY YEAR WE CONSTANTLY INVEST IN NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE THE MOST CAREFUL AND GENTLE PROCESSING FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY WINES

WITH THE 2020 WINE YEAR, THE SON OF EDUARD OSWALD'S YOUNGEST SISTER, FABIAN BAYR, TAKE OVER THE VINIFICATION AT THE TRAPL WINE ESTATE. TOGETHER WITH HIS UNCLE EDUARD, HIS GIRLFRIEND ANDREA AND THE SUPPORT OF THE WHOLE "TRAPL" FAMILY, FABIAN DIVERSE INTO THE STYRIAN WINE WORLD WITH FULL ACTION AND HIGHLY COMMITTED. 

FOR DECADES WE HAVE BEEN COMBINING THE MOST INNOVATIVE IDEAS WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR ANcestors. WHEN LOOKING TO THE FUTURE, IT IS OUR TOP PRIORITY TO NEVER LOSE THE PAST IN EYE.

ANDREA WINKLER

ANDREA, FABIAN'S GIRLFRIEND, LIVES AND WORKED AT THE WINE ESTATE SINCE 2019. THROUGH HER MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS AN INDUSTRIAL PURCHASER, SHE SUPPORTS US IN THE OFFICE. BUT HER PASSION IS FOR THE VINEYARD AND THE TREATMENT OF OUR GUESTS.

EDUARD OSWALD

EDUARD TAKEN OVER THE BUSINESS FROM HIS FATHER IN THE 1980s AND CREATED A SUCCESSFUL WINE ESTATE. HIS MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW MAKE HIM A TRUE "SCHILCHER LEGEND"

FABIAN BAYR, BSC.

FABIAN, EDUARD'S nephew, HAS BEEN WORKING AT THE WINE ESTATE SINCE 2015. AFTER HIS SUCCESSFUL STUDIES IN BUSINESS INFORMATICS, HE DECIDED TO CONTINUE THE FAMILY WINE ESTATE AND HAS BEEN CALLING HIMSELF "EXCELLENT" VINEYARD AND CELLAR MASTER SINCE 2019.
